when mommy's away

my sad eyes impression
last week was an exciting-although a bit sad-week.  my two biggest grievances were that 1) my camera broke, forcing me to run around snapping off baby iphone pictures and videos and more importantly 2) mommy left on a business trip from monday to thursday, which significantly reduced the daily mama-cuddles quota i've come to expect.

i've been benched
despite these challenges, i still managed to have a pretty fun week with oma and daddy taking charge.  oma and i engaged in one of our favorite past times, sitting-on-front-porch-bench-leaf-gazing.  although this time i showed oma what a big boy i am by sitting up all by myself.  she was quite impressed. however, when i subsequently requested her to pass the sippy beer mug...she wisely refused.

hanging with mr. theo
daddy and i also had some interesting times.  on thursday afternoon he allowed me to have an epic play date where three-month-old theo and an air-duct-cleaning repair man came over to my crib and daddy tried to watch all of us by himself.  while mr. repair man dragged loud vacuums and multiple hoses all through the house, theo and i would take turns "forcefully telling" daddy what we wanted next.  much of the afternoon was spent with daddy's left arm bear-hug-feeding me, while his right arm was attempting to slow down theo's fussing with fervent play-chair bounces.  all in all the day was pretty fun, although i think mr. repair man was both amused and thoroughly shocked with the afternoon's festivities.
two steppin' with mommy
after all my fun times, i was quite happy to have mommy return on friday.  so much so,  i pulled out my guitar and we danced and rocked out together all morning.  then in the afternoon i showed mommy how good i am at sitting up, by lounging in my big boy chair and literally taking in a good book.
play it all night long dudes
i think i'll read the hungry caterpillar
wait...i AM the hungry caterpillar
this week also should prove to be exciting.  on thursday my seattle family members are all coming over to my crib to celebrate turkey day and then on saturday i get to celebrate my six-month birthday.  i hope everyone has a happy and safe thanksgiving.

if you happen to have excessive amounts of time on your hands, feel free to check out one of my latest three video projects.  unfortunately until i get my camera back, it's all iphone shots all the time, but i thought at least i'd give you a taste of what i've been up to.

peek-a-giggle

 that's a interesting tasty read

  1. Little "Ryder Adams", though Ryan Adam's new album is too mellow. Keep the rock alive Ryder!
