catching up on my book list

g'MA and g'PA came back... yee-haw!  i swear i was just hanging with them like 10 days ago in maine, and then  to my amazing surprise, i'm lucky enough to see them back in seattle.

after a quick trip to san fran, g'Ma and g'Pa came north and joined mommy and daddy on my first ever methow valley excursion.  mommy and daddy have raved so much about the methow in my first four months of existence that i just had to see this special place for myself.

on thursday afternoon, the five of us plus two funny looking bikes piled into a super hip kia sedona and made the four-plus hour ride out to winthrop.  there were some storm clouds and light rain on the ride east, but luckily this was all the bad weather we'd experience the entire trip.

mr mule deer wanted to have a stare down contest.  i of course won b/c he was overcome by my cuteness.

the next two days were filled with amazing views and delicious breakfasts at the sun mountain lodge, short hikes with mom and dad, g'Pa and dad mountain bike rides on which i was rudely not invited and some hot strolling around winthrop and twisp.

upon returning home i decided it was time to read some books with g'Ma... and then do some toe grabbing!

apparently i don't have to look at the book to read it

i never knew i had these.  woo-hoo!
