seattle snow fall

been a bit behind on the blog of late - i guess all those exciting nine month baby diversions are taking their toll.  from barrel rolls across the living room to gorging myself on carrots and o's, life's been pretty fun of late.

but i'm not writing to give you an update on the here and now.  instead i wanted to offer a couple pics of my snowy january adventures in the emerald city.  as many of you heard, a few weeks into the new year, seattle got the rare dumping of wet, sloshy snow.

while many major north american cities would laugh at two to five inches, seattle with it's steep hills and low snow plow per capita ratio, essentially shuts down.  mommy and daddy don't go to work, cousin elise and cousin evan cross-country ski over to play board games and i play by the fire or go sledding.

the city was basically snowy and quiet from wednesday through friday night.  and in that time, i did a lot of rolling around on the floor, playing with elise, evan, auntie kelly and uncle andrew, and of course, giving mommy big goodnight hugs.
